Save yourself the heartache and money and use a cab or Uber. RTD is the worse. Closing trains on a Friday afternoon unacceptable. You suck RTD. I hate you and I'll shout from the rooftops how lame you are!

  • I saw a bunch of complaints here...I guess I've had better luck--that, and I don't expect perfection from an imperfect world. RTD has been good for me.

They are always delayed and breaking down. I also lost a phone on the bus, tried contacting their lost and found department online and by phone and that is close to impossible. As I sit and write this the driver for the 6:40 #6 bus is late leaving because he is on the phone and smoking a cigarette. I called this in too and they did not care one bit. Colorado needs a public transportation alternative. This is ridiculous.

Ah, another lovely experience with an RTD commute. First the 157 Bus was 15-20 minutes late. Supposed to be there 5:04 per schedule This caused a cascading effect. I missed my usual 21 bus from Aurora Metro Center. Thought no biggie, just wait for the next, right? WRONG! It showed about 15-20 minutes later. But wait. Nope, not taking passengers. Let folks off then went "Interline" (out of service). So, wait for the next, getting frustrated at this point. It shows in about another 15. But AGAIN this one goes "interline" too. What in the world?!! Why would they do that twice in a row? I honestly don't understand that AT ALL. Finally, 3rd times a charm I guess because this one was actually taking people. By the time I board this bus, it is already the time I am usually home!! My next and final connection 105 was a bit late as well but I see in the news there was a severe incident along that route so gonna give that one a pass. So, an hour later than usual, I finally get home. "Your schedule is important so we work hard to stay on ours" Really RTD? Gee - wasting nearly an hour of my life just waiting. Good thing I didn't have a 2nd job, important appointment to get to, or kids to pick up or something. I pay $99 a month for a local bus pass. I expect some measure of reliable service for that. I understand things happen but that should be the exception, not the rule. Not the first time, and I am sure won't the last I will have to suffer major inconvenience due to RTD. And you wonder why more people don't ride the bus and prefer to drive if they have the option. The non caring, non customer friendly attitude of a lot of your staff never helps either.
